Food Microbiology Detection (FMD) offers a wide range of proficiency testing (PT) programmes in detecting foodborne and food spoilage microorganisms.
The PT schemes offered include the detection of Salmonella spp., Listeria monocytogenes, Escherichia coli (generic), E. coli O157 (non-toxigenic), Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Staphylococcus aureus, Vibrio cholerae (non-O1) and Bacillus cereus.

The programmes offered include aerobic organisms, Enterobacteriaceae, coliform count, Escherichia coli, Bacillus cereus, yeasts, Listeria monocytogenes, Vibrio parahaemolyticus and Vibrio cholerae (non-O1).
